Last evening we had dinner at Sunset 44 Bistro in Kirkwood and it was outstanding. I began with a turkey vegetable soup Whit was almost a consume and was absolutely delicious and light. My wife had the Cesar salad with a light vinaigrette and loved it. We bothe had the beef medallions special perfectly prepared medium rare with mashed potatoes and grilled vegies. We completed the evening with the best bread pudding I have ever consumed and excellent coffee. Bonus was Bob Menendez, the owner, visiting with us and then having his daughter Carrie as our well versed server/waitress. What a rocky! In addition you can purchase excellent wine to take home at a deep discount. An absolute jewel in the St Louis/Kirkwood area. Highly recommended.
