{"id":6,"date":"2015-05-01T15:14:11","date_gmt":"2015-05-01T15:14:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2022-10-13T20:08:57","modified_gmt":"2022-10-14T02:08:57","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/","title":{"rendered":"Home &#8211; We play so they can walk."},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"Body\"><strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-280 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/images2.jpeg\" alt=\"images\" width=\"479\" height=\"385\">&nbsp; &nbsp; WHAT WE&#8217;RE ABOUT<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p class=\"Body\">The Racquet Ruckus Foundation (RRF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for Shriners Hospital for Children <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-289 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_12941-300x147.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1294\" width=\"445\" height=\"218\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_12941-300x147.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG_12941-1024x500.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 445px) 100vw, 445px\" \/>in St. Louis through an annual racquetball tournament and internet auction, among other events as deemed appropriate by the Foundation board.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">The RRF works closely with the Moolah Shriners Hospital Reception Committee to reach our fundraising goal. &nbsp;The RRF is not directly affiliated with Shriners Hospitals for Children or with Shriners International, but is an independent Foundation organized to raise funds for the patients at the hospital.&nbsp; All net proceeds from the fundraising events put on by the RRF are provided directly to Shriners Hospital for Children, a 501c3 organization.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-278 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/images.jpeg\" alt=\"images\" width=\"272\" height=\"185\">The above photograph shows members of the Moolah Hospital Committee and the RRF, handing &nbsp;proceeds to Shriners Hospital for Children &#8211; St. Louis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\">Shriners Hospitals for Children\u00ae is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outst<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-274 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Girl-in-hospital-bed-Large-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Girl in hospital bed (Large)\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Girl-in-hospital-bed-Large-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Girl-in-hospital-bed-Large-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.racquetruckus.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Girl-in-hospital-bed-Large.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>anding teaching programs for medical professionals.
